in the news

Pope Francis told in an interview about recent events that the religion is not to blame for all of the bad

things happening. It is the others fault. The world is at war because it has lost its peace.  to avoid any

misunderstanding:

Quote “I would just like to add one more thing by way of clarification: when I speak of

war, I mean real war, not religious war I speak of a war of interests, over money, nature’s

resources and the domination of peoples.”

“I do no speak of a religious war. Religions,” he, Pope Francis, concluded, “all religions,

seek peace. It’s others who want war. Understand?
I like that finishing line Capisce? or Do you understand? (If you look at the video of the interview the Pope speaks in italian/spanish)

Thinking
There is a sentence I have returned to think of lately and I do not know the correct
translation for it. It's a sentence from the play Ett drömspel  A Dream Play by
August Strindberg(1849-1912).
"Det är synd om människorna" says Indras daughter to her father upon the return
home from a visit to Earth. At first before being to Earth, she is hopeful that love
will conquer all, but after she listens to the anguished cries of humanity,
experiences the pain of family life, and discovers that reform always will be stifled
by the self-righteous, she can look on humanity only with compassion. She finally
realizes that human beings are creatures who hopelessly harbor spiritual
aspirations but are held down by the weight of their fleshly existence.
I come to the sentence "Poor Youth", in an english translation of the work, which
is close enough.
Det är synd om människorna - direct translation word by word -
It is pitiful about humanity. That is what the daughter of Indra repeats in the play.
Indra is apparently God from India. So August Strindberg must have read about
other religions during his lifetime. The writer is known for his paintings of a
stormy sea and dark clouds, and his books and his participation in the society of
manly men, smoking cigarr, drinking and being angry.
This is the mad writers dream done into a play, he was mad it's
written down. It was a bewildering play for his time, with the not correct way of
telling a tale.
I have added to my films to watch list Ett drömspel (1963) by Ingmar Bergman
becoz I don't fell like reading, which is a shame. Shame maybe
even better translation of the swedish word synd. It's a shame about humanity
Like the godess return home to his father and says 'I visited Earth and oh boy it's,
I feel sorry for them.' She feel pity and goes from feeling so hopeful to being
disappointed. Lesson learned may be keep your expectations at an all time low.
(The title Ett Drömspel could also mean A game of dreaming
most swedish words have double nature meanings, it's hard to translate anything)
Anyhow. That string of words has come to mind last week,
a play writers words Det är synd om människorna that could be translated to
It's a shame about humanity or maybe even Poor souls

After have seen some of the YT of Comic con and I can say this. I am looking
forward to the TV serie American Gods, I 've just read the book by Neil Gaiman
and to see it becoming film is amazing.
It started 8 years ago and will soon be 15 episodes, Sherlock.
Then I don't know about what otherwise was presented at the comic con
I just stop and stared at Jared Leto becoz I've had his pic from an OK magazine
since I was tiny and now he plays the Joker in a film which name escapes me but
I'll see it.

Everyday there is something to remember

Summer is here

- Today it is time to remember the bomb that fell over Hiroshima 70 years ago.
It is all over the twitter. You can see interview of some of the survivors on the BBC News.

- Who cares? That something happened so long ago. A world war will never happen again.
We have learned our lesson. Thanks Einstein, inventor of the atom bomb. It stopped the war.

- No it didn't! It just made the Japan surrender to the Americans. Then the cold war was holding Sovjet and America on the edge. Then the war did not end until recently, when the Berlin wall fell down.

- But that was 1990's it is at least 25 years ago?

- Yes it is that recently. As a environmental interested I see the years as seconds or less.
The beginning of the universe was a long time ago. The dinosaurs happened some time ago.
The age of the human race is a fart. A loud fart and since the invention of the nuclear power plants and freons a quite smelly and toxic fart for mother Earth.

You can see interviews of the survivors of Hiroshima on various news sites. It really happened. A 6km diameter wide cloud was seen from the place that bomb was dropped. All over the streets people ran for their lives. A doctor that saw that cloud went into the Hiroshima hospital tent to help the burned victims. He layed bandages and whatnot on the patients to soothe, heal and treated thousand patients that day, couple of weeks later all was dead and the doctor chose to quit his job. Haunted by the day the bomb fell he can remember and tell about it to the camera photographer 70years on.

Don't mention the war. I began school as the wall fell down. I still remember the poster on the door in my first classroom. I saw the date of Berlin wall fallin, apparently it was an accident that made the reporter/ politician was it? tell everyone to smash it down. A lucky misinterpretation of the television viewers made people gather to take the wall down brick for brick Nov 9. 1989. That is when the war ended methinks.

In Sweden we have had this weekend some people gathering to take down the Sweden Democrats commercial for against the immigration, about 12000 people signed up for going to demonstrate against the right winged rather unnecessary commercial banderolls telling about how beggars are unwanted in Sweden. People need to be. One says why are we to have them Romanians here to sit and beg for money to get a ticket to go home again. They did not sit and beg for money here before. What are they doing here on our streets, begin for money instead of being in their home country working? What is it that doesn't work in Romania? Why Sweden democrats? What is wrong with some people?

The Japanese has worked 70years for Peace. No anger, just sorrow. There is a peace concert in Hiroshima now in 2015.

I wonder if they will play John Lennons - Imagine?

Today, let it be a good day

Great day for america! Eh, Irony. I see in the news the political game that is going on. The government of US is very special. The president has not the power but the house of parliament does? The US had a shutdown in 1995 too, during Bill Clinton rule. Shutdown, I believe would never occur in Sweden. We have a different system. The budget has gone through some debate of course but no disagreement in the Riksdagen would get the Swedish government to shut down.
Of course we have high tax that every citizen dutifully pays in to the government through the "moms" that is on every item we buy. It´s a good thing to have tax because the money goes to hospital, social services, school, police, government. And then theres the one krona that goes to the king of Sweden aswell, he tends to the history of the old country.
It seems that most of the countries in the world has money debts, taking loans to pay for this and that. And luckily the most money are just numbers on a datascreen. If the money was printed out there would soon be shortage of cotton or trees or whatever money are made of. The solution for future society seem to be fleemarkets, garagesales, trading things person to person, visit the farm to buy milk and cheese by trading a shirt or knitted hat. (In China there is a rule to not build below 37 stories high buildings becoz of the increasing population. I wonder how they would get to the farm on daily basis, countryside or forest when its so many people crammed into one spot?)

I'm wondering where the grass is greener?

Today in the News. Femen got caught by the Police for showing their naked breasts in a Mosque in Stockholm.

Is it good shouting "Stop Sharia" and "Free the women" in that manner?

embarrassed

Whats up world!? I'm just a swedish girl that love music.
In the swedish newspaper I read today that the EU wish to see  more trainees/ lärlingar in Sweden.
I think its a wonderful idea, but I wonder how to get it done? In Expressen(evening standard newspaper) yesterday Ann Charlotte thought that those who are unemployed should help out in the healthcare, taking care of the old, instead of having the rule that those who have been unemployed for more than 2 years is forced to do meaningless fas3 jobs.
Another voice in the newspaper that made me think was Magdalena, that thought real jobs should  be done with real pay where those who work get to do a real effort.
Mikroloan to the young thinks Claes because it is something that has worked for the Africa countries.
Last seen Musicvideo: David Bowie och Gary Oldman i The next day video. Them dressed as people of the church, no, Bowie is dressed as a singing profet and it is clearly a prostitute bar. A kid say in the beginning her money for the poor and the hungry. The Gary Oldman hits the poor man down and a prostitute picks up money from the floor. Whom made the musicvideo this time? Who was the director I mean? SO cool. The priest Gary shout something at the profet and the prostitute woman starts bleeding from her hands like shes been nailed. It ends with David Bowie saying thank you everyone and disappearing into the spotlight. (I don't see why there was such a fuss about the video.)
Ciao!
